I was too lazy to cook anything today. I ate some veggies I had cut up for an easy snack and a bit of Dr. Pepper left over from my rum and sodas last night.

Pretty good OP. You make those chips yourself?

Coo/ck/ed some cod for the first time today. Pic isn't mine, but I battered it with flour and egg.

It's incredibly tasteless. I seasoned it with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

I'm cooking more tomorrow. Tell me /ck/, how do you prepare your cod?

>fry something in oil

>chop carrots and set aside
>slice up chicken breast
>stir fry chicken breast in two separate batches because small pan and set aside
>stir fry the carrots
>add spinach
>keep stir frying until done
>add the chicken again to finish cooking
>oh_boy_I'm_looking_forward_to_this.jpg
>add sauce, nearly done
>OH SHIT I FORGOT TO PUT ON SOME RICE
>panic, put on rice, stand there like an idiot stir frying at low heat for ten minutes while waiting for the rice to cook
Chicken was a bit dry and the veggies were over cooked but it was still delicious.
Thanx for reading.

I don't see the issue, but that plate is way too crowded to cut that steak without eating everything first, unless you don't mind making a mess.

i'm skeptical that you have a countertop with what looks to be a commercial laminate.

you do realize you're allowed to have separate bowls/plates in one setting, right?

If you eat first the spaghetti then the meat will be cold probably.

When I cook something like that I let rest the steak on the grill (4 stone layer) so that it will absorbe the juice heavenly and stay warm while I eat something else.

If it's tasteless, you're probably doing something wrong. Maybe you overcooked it. It wasn't frozen, was it? You may have also used too much lemon juice. That aside, I like to pair cod with dill.

Maybe it was simply frozen from a long time
