What are chia seeds and why don't you eat them erry day? They are they greatest food ever. Easy to prepare, fun jelly texture, low carb, high fiber, high omega-3 fatty acids. They taste like nothing... in a good way. Add water and it tastes like water. I like to put it in tea, then it's like healthy bubble tea. Tomorrow I'll try grinding some up and putting it in a bread recipe.

Anyone have any favorite chia seed recipes? What are good things to flavor it with? Oh I know, I have some mint leaves...

Don't forget to drink two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar every day. It's healthy!

Oh, and a teaspoon of cinnamon in your coffee is healthy too, so be sure to do that!

I almost forgot about avocado and kale! You have to have those every day because you want to be healthy right?

I don't see what the big deal is.

I bought a pack on impulse and have been adding them to my morning porridge. Can't say that feel any different.

I think they're overpriced for what they are, though.

Chia seeds are food, they have calories and stuff. It's not a gimmick health supplement that tastes nasty to choke down. Regardless of health benefits, they are pleasant to eat and convenient. Buy it online and it's cheap too. This stuff's amazing. I don't need to convince everyone. It's just that I wish I had found it sooner and so I feel moved to rave about it on the internets. Maybe not everyone will like the taste texture as much as me but I feel like I've found the holy grail of lazy cheap people food.

I understand your cynicism, but this stuff's the real deal.

I throw in a tablespoon of two in my fruit smoothie every morning.

My shots have been top tier ever since I incorporated the chia seeds. Guess the clean out your tract and maintain it.

Grabbed a huge sack at Costco for <$10

I've seen them for as high as $12 for a half pound at places like whole foods but at the farmer's market near me they're really cheap. About $6 a pound if I remember right.

I've tried golden flaxseed before, the bag I bought smelled a little fishy, literally like fish. But I baked some shortbread with it and it tasted good. Flaxseed is gud stuff too.

my comment was mostly parody but ok.

these things can't be very expensive to produce so i don't know how they justify the high prices that they charge for it.

it's like the new wheatgrass.

A scene from Honey I Shrunk the Kids or one of its sequels (It has been so long I forget which one has the scene) Bitch kid has some medical condition and his sister mumbles something about potassium and shoves a banana down his throat and he gets better instantly. Wasn't 'till Principles of Human Nutrition class I realized how disinfo it was.
