How do you get bread like this to not taste like shit? I've got all of my favorite simple sandwich recipes but this bread instantly makes everything taste bad.
Anything that makes it taste good?

Go to your local baker one who makes bread out if water, flour, salt and sometimes yeast and buy actual bread. What you have in that picture is more related to a hostess twinkle than actual bread. It's an atificial form of cake.

My gf bought me this when I told her to get bread, she wants me to be healthy but I run like 5 miles a day and am just fine with normal white bread, I need the carbs.
I guess I'll just make toast until I exaust this and go back to normal bread, it sucks though because I got a ton of good cheeses and meats for different melts but I'm not even going to waste it on this bread.

butter it with soft butter or margerine before using on a sammy, pretty much drowns out the bread taste. i only do that for really saucy subs like marinara meatball but ive seen some fatbodys doing it.

protip: peanut butter is your only friend.
my quick pick me up snack is a slice of that slathered with peanut butter and a drizzle of honey folded in half. the bread is cardboard but its done wonders for my BM's
