back when I was a youngster my small town finally got a Burger King.
For the first year those flame broiled burgers were simply amazing, so much better than your average fast food burger. A Whopper and fries was a meal truly fit for royalty.
Then one day, things changed. Its like they started soaking their burgers in dishwater and sourcing their veggies from dumpsters.

I get it with extra tomatoes, extra lettuce, and zesty sauce on the side

Im not sure if I would call it the "best meal", and it may be irrational.

But certainly my FAVORITE thing I have ever gotten at a fast food restaurant were the Hardees Big Twins.

I lived near a particularly nice Hardees that always had great food and service.

I fell in love with the Big Twins, it was just a hardees double cheeseburger with big mac sauce and lettuce.
For some reason, it just clicked with me and I ate a ton of them.


It makes me sad they havent had them on the menu for like 5 years now.
