I'm mildly proud of this.

A frozen bean burrito, surrounded by tater tots, topped with scotch bonnet salsa, and then queso w/chili, plus hot sauce.

Tasty and filling. The tater tots and the chili in the queso are a nice way to stretch the meal without having to invoke a whole second burrito.

I love how plates of Mexican food are like plates of Thanksgiving food: everything just ends up mixing with everything else and it all somehow works.

How the fuck does one invoke a burrito? Is it via some sort of ancient Maya incantation?

It reminds me of what I used to eat when I lived in a trailer with my friends at 18. Worked a minimum wage job, had only a 10 year old toaster oven and a microwave to cook with.

That said, I would still probably eat it if I was drunk and starving.

My sophmore year of college a few buddies of mine and our girls came over for the weekend and we all got fucking hammered.

I ended up waking up the next morning to come downstairs for a nice morning bowl pack and I walk into my kitchen (it's a pretty big kitchen too) FILLED with baking sheets of tater tots all cooked and all over the fucking place.

After i had passed out Rob thought it was a good idea to cook a million tater tots and then fall asleep on my couch.

>> No.6561504

While you shouldn't be proud, OP, sometimes it's the little simple things that are tasty as fuck.

Last night my friend's autistic roommate fried up some "chopped beef" with seasoning salt and mixed it with Ragu alfredo and pasta. I would never have made something like that because I'm a pretentious fag but it was more than good enough to eat at one in the morning.

I guess thats a start, but burritos are one of the easiest things you can make, and It will be not only cheaper but healthier than a frozen burrito.

Once a week, make a whole bunch of taco/burrito meat, then just heat up a tortilla in a pan and throw some meat on there with some cheese some sour cream/yogurt and some sort of hot sauce. If you wanna get real fancy, chop up some lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.

>> No.6563635

Well, that is certainly a meal you can create, I guess.

Why is that queso orange?
