Hey /ck/
/fit/ here
I've discovered that green tea can help with weight loss, so I got myself a package.
I was thinking to boil two liters of water and then make enough tea to fill a bottle to put in the fridge.
Considering that every teabag weighs 1.3g, how much of them into 2 liters of water to make a fairly concentrated tea?

25 teabags.

Why don't you just look at the instructions and do your math accordingly?

The general rule of thumb is one bag per every six ounces of water, plus an additional bag "for the pot."

In your case that would be one bag for every ~180 mL, or about 11 bags for your two liters.

Furthermore, please refrain from ever again posting pictures of bagged "tea" on /ck/ as I was thoroughly triggered.

Oh and on a serious note, can all of you /fit/ autists PLEASE PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE just keep your "cooking" concerns on your own board? I would REALLY appreciate it.

thx

You don't brew green tea with boiling water. Keep it at about 170 or it'll taste awful.

Wow, /fit/ sure is full of retards.

A teabag is good for a cup of tea. A cup is 8 ounces of liquid. Just multiply the amount of tea bags to the number of cups you need. Two liters is about eight and a half cups so you'll need eight teabags.

However, you can cold brew for better efficiency. I would put four or five tea bags in the same amount of liquid and refrigerate it overnight.

There's good tea that comes in bags and I'm a loose leaf elitist.

You want to drink green tea COLD? That sounds disgusting.
I always thought herbal teas and shit worked for weight loss because a hot drink helps curb appetite.

Iced tea is excellent. I wish third worlders would try it.
