How do you rate your fast food chains /ck/?

God tier: Coldstone, Shake Shack, Ihop, Papa Murphys, Cinnabon, Pita Pit

Good tier: Chipotle, The Habit, Chick-fil-a, whataburger, smashburger, red-robins, Krispy kreme, El Pollo Loco, Culver's

Average tier: Papa John's, Burger king, KFC, Popeyes, Panda express, Wendy's, Diary queen, Carl's Jr, Baskin Robbins

Bad tier: Denny's, Panera bread, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Subway

Worthless shit tier: CiCi's pizza, McDonalds, White Castle, Little Caesars, Taco Bell

Is In-N-Out good? Going to kill it when i visit Cali this summer.

Another example of this happened about 3 years ago at Cabellas location near Minneapolis.
My wife and I were looking at guns. Just browsing the long guns. A fellow came up to ask if he could help us. I said no thanks, just looking but he continued to insert himself in the situation. He was a sales guy I imagined.
So I let him go on a bit, and when he asked if I had a gun dog, I said no. And went on.
" I do however have several dog guns."
"Dog guns?"
Well yes we have a hunt club back home, keep several high powered short barreled dog guns. It's a rite of passage. When a boy first shows an interest in hunting, the very next spring his father buys him a puppy. A spaniel or terrier or something like that. Now that boy looks after the dog, bonds with him over the summer, becomes more or less inseparable.
The sales guy was all smiles at this.
Then come fall, we take the boy and his dog to the hunt club. We tie the dog to a stake with a short leash, hand the gun to the boy and tell him that if he wants to come hunting, the dog has to be his first kill.
The sales guy is horrified.
It's all about determination, grit and knowing what it really means to take the life of a fellow living creature. Those boys who shoot the dog become hunters. Those boys who cry and won't shoot the dog go home to mother and learn how to bake and cook .
The sales guy turns and walks rapidly away.

Laughter postponed is alway better for the time it takes.

If you're going to In-N-Out, do not order off the standard menu board, half the fun and pretty much their entire specialty is going full burger autist and requesting extra/less/no toast on rare/medium rare/well/well done burger with grilled whole/grilled chopped/regular/raw onions, extra/easy/no lettuce/tomato/thousand island dressing/chiles, and other assorted bullshit requests like cut the burger in half.

Animal style fries are worth it for first visit, do not let the fries get cold by any means necessary.

Not taking advantage of their customizable cooking directions is like going to Five Guys and asking for a burger with no toppings. Easy ticket to hating the chain without giving it a fair shake.

In-N-Out is definitely overrated, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
It's a lot better than the McDonalds, BK, Wendy's tier of fast food and isn't nearly as expensive as the Five Guys' and Shake Shacks of the world. A burger, fries and a shake will run you like 5 bucks.

In n out is good, but overhyped. The folks crowing about how it's the best burger ever are just exaggeration-prone. It's not the BEST burger you'll ever eat, but it is the best burger your likely to get out of a drive-through in the western US for 5-ish dollars.
