You know almost all ramen/dried noodle is between 500-700 calories per bag, right? That's insanity for a bowl of soup. 2 bags and you are over half your limit for a moderately active normal sized (height) person. It's called pempek lenjer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pempek#Variants

I make my own because they're not available where I currently live. Just get some boneless, white fleshed fish, cut it up, put it in a blender with some egg whites and fish sauce as well as a little powdered sugar, blitz smooth, then stir in some cornstarch a little at a time until it's the right consistency. Finally, add whatever additional ingredients you like (I put sliced chilies, sliced garlic, coriander leaves, thinly sliced lime leaves and either chopped scallion greens or garlic chives). Pipe it into sausage casings or, if you lack casings, use clingfilm to form sausages, wrap tightly and steam or boil until cooked through and set.
They're really fucking good. I use them in stir fries and soup toppings. Also like making really, really big ones and shave bits off it like from those processed kebab logs and eat them on roti canai with pickled mixed veg.

The next time I went, they were out of stock. The lady working said she doesn't know when or if they'll get more. :-(

Oh I forgot to mention, I like too add mozzarella cheese because it melts so good.

In Korea you can buy mini packs of mozzarella cheese and its called "ramyun cheese", it is in these little packsat the convenience stores

That is plastic cheese, you know the square one.

Ramen and ramyun are the same thing..

ramen is a japanese word and ramyun is a korean word.
Both breddy much mean instant noodles.

Also ramyun or alternatively ramyeon, both spellings are correct

I hope this helps.

The only other instant noodle that even comes close to MAMA is this expensive herbal chicken one whose brand I can't recall.
Otherwise, this is the greatest for me, hands down.

Fucking Korean quality, No thank you.
As food is closely associated with our health, I don't wanna buy any Korean and Chinese products. Both Korean and Chinese products are garbage and poison rather than food. Korean food is unsanitary and contains parasite, bacterial, virus, shit, spit, and worms. Chinese food is dangerous because of contaminations of pesticide, antibiotic, preservative, heavy metal, waste oil and garbage.

Delicious, wasn't it?

I was introduced to the stuff years ago when I had a flatmate from Thailand. Her mother sent her a carepackage of various Thai convenience foods and "black chili" (which is just red chili that's roasted over coal until it's black so that it gets a smoky flavour).
When I think of Thai food, I usually think of smokiness because many Thai foods I've had in Thailand and with my flatmate had a certain smoky quality to them due to being cooked over open flame fueled by coal or wood. Whenever I've had Thai food outside of Thailand, it's never smoky. Ever. It tastes good, but doesn't taste very Thai to me, if that makes sense.

Anyway, when I was first introduced to the instant smoked fish noodle soup, it had a different waifu but the same blue packaging. I liked that waifu more than the current one. Pic related is the only example of the old waifu I could find. She's the red-haired one on the package on top of the pile. She is superior to current waifu in every way. In every. Way.

As someone living in Japan, I'm regularly told by everyone here to avoid anything from China as much as possible especially when it comes to food, since China is a dirty country with bascially no regulations, and how shocking it is that Japan would even allow their food in.

Never heard anything bad about Korean food, the only complaint seems to be its too spicy for the baby tongues in Kantou.

I figure with as much shit as they like to sling at each other if there was any merit to your claim I would have heard it.
