>These are fancy pans, ceramic coated inside and steel with this shiny fleck coating on the outside (Non of that non-stick crap in this house)
>We try them out and they're like heaven, nothing ever gets stuck to them
>Clean out is such a breeze, you could wash them out with 1-ply toilet paper and a drop of soap
>After a week or so, been using these as my main pans
>Dad pops his head into the kitchen
>Tells me never to put the hot pans under running water cause that will make them warp
>Dad leaves
>I look both ways
>Turn the sink on and thrust the pan under boiling hot water
>I duck as clouds of steam explode and fills the entire kitchen ceiling in a haze of evaporated water
>I look down at the pan in my hand
>It's perfectly fine... No warping whatsoever
>Then suddenly
>MFW I realize hot water can't warp steel pans
