Good investment on their part. Awful stupidity on the part of everyone who continued purchasing. Their original main factory is near where I live. It's produced in multiple locations now, and ingredients vary by source location.

These are my favorite flavors from their respective brands. I've had about 10 different flavors of Talenti and probably only 5 or so of Ben & Jerry's.

Candy Bar Pie is up there for B&J though.

Italianfag here, recently tried Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownies flavors since they were on sale.
It was pretty underwhelming.
I'm sure there's better American ice cream pints around, but I only get those two Ben and Jerry flavors plus the Chew Chew Caramel one and some Haagen Dazs here, not to mention it's all outrageously priced at slightly less than 5€/pint.

I think I'll just stick to Italian artisan gelato for the time being.

Not sure if you ever heard this but apparently they steal ideas from inventors. PC doesn't actually invent most of their products, they constantly have people pitch their food ideas to them and in return for products PC sells those people receive a percentage of their sales.

I remember reading an article about some lady that created new flavors of ice cream that she tried to sell through the PC brand. They went through a long testing phase to see if the product would be successful in stores and all seemed good but said they will not be using her products. A few months later they started producing their own incredibly similar product.

what's the difference between cheap and expensive ice cream? I just bought some Talenti coffee chocolate chip for the first time and it tastes okay, but I don't notice too much of a difference compared to ice cream.

FYI Blue Bell is not on shelves right now. Their whole plant is shut down due to a listeria outbreak or some shit. They got shut down and recalled everything, laid off almost all their staff...the only ones still working are cleaning the plant from top to bottom, and there's still no ETA for when it'll be back on shelves.
