Happy Monday, fellow cu/ck/s! What are your food plans for this week? I am going to make black bean burgers today. Then for work Tuesday and Wednesday I'll be eating macaroni and cheese along with refried black beans. I just got a shit ton of black beans and I love them. How about you guys? Anything big or special planned?

Making a frittata tonight.
Going out to eat with friends at a seafood place on wednesday. Thursday I have work off and the weather is supposed to be good, so I'm just gonna fire up the old grill and sit around in my backyard sipping on cold beers eating burgers or something like that.

I want make herbed butter with wild herbs. Therefore I'll have to learn more about plants because up to now all I use is stinging nettle, bear leek and garlic mustard.

Well, I still haven't gone grocery shopping for this week, so I guess....I have no plans yet. I'll go today. I know I'll be making some turkey and sausage gumbo this week, though, but I still have to get a few ingredients for that. And, definitely a lot of fruit, because fruit if love, fruit is life.
