So thanks to this fucking virus i've had for the last 2 weeks I got paid basically nothing. Long story short I have about $130 for food the next 2 weeks, so I guess i'd better learn how to cook.

So! Let's say you, as a more accomplished cook than myself, find yourself with $130 for 2 weeks. You have just a coffee for breakfast (work buys them each morning, no cost to yourself) and you have to get food for lunch and dinner.

This is my first time living out of home. Seriously I can't cook for shit. I think the most creative thing i've made was an omelette. What's something I can make lots of cheaply?

How do you have a virus for a solid 2 weeks? Is there a reason you didn't just reinstall immediately?

Easy steps you can follow
1. buy rice, vegetables, meat
2. don't know how to cook
3. starve

I'm 86 years old, that's why.

That's...plenty of money for two weeks of groceries anon? I don't see why you're worried about blowing through it but I guess just get rice, beans, potatoes, and oatmeal if you want to try eating like a poorfag.

If you are this retarded I'm assuming you must have some sort of caretaker, can you alert him/her to your situation and get to a safe place immediately?

>>6465170
This should really be a sticky.

86, seriously? That's got to be a new 4chan record. OP, just buy affordable, filling stuff - beans, rice, potatoes, lentils, peas, flour, pasta, milk, eggs and base your meals around them. One of my favourite recent recipes:
http://www.grouprecipes.com/73215/arroz-de-tomate-e-feijao---rice-with-tomato-and-beans.html

French pancakes:
1 cup flour
2 cups milk
3 eggs
1tbsp sugar
2-3 pinches of salt

gently whisk flour with one cup of milk, once lump-free pour in other ingredients and whisk. Let it sit for 30 min, then make thin pancakes in medium hot skillet. Wa la.

Hoooooooly shit. If $130 for two weeks for one person is a problem you really need to step back and take a look at your money management skills.

maybe he's including drugs and alcohol in that?
