Straight, I used to be a waiter at a steakhouse and you wouldn't believe how many people just won't eat mushrooms. Probably around 30% of the orders for dishes with mushrooms said "Hold the mushrooms". This wasn't at Longhorn either, this was a swanky place

Yeah I don't get it either. I guess they are just scared because it grows on mold, rotten food, and feces but honestly they taste fucking great. Battered and fried, mixed into soups/pastas/etc, on pizza, on burgers, on steak. If I could eat mushrooms with every meal I would.
