Is canned Chef Boyardee still good a year or so after the printed expiration date? Asking for a friend.

That friend being my stomach, cause it's the only thing I have left in my house that can be made quickly

are the cans bulging?

Yeah, man. Shit could survive a nuclear holocaust. Eat up.

It was never good, just like /b/, but you won't get sick from eating it.

Canned food is safe to eat for decades as long as the seal is intact. If the can is not leaking or bulged, then it's safe to eat. It may not taste very good, but it will be safe.

If the can is leaking or bulged, throw it out.

Yeah, no bulging/leaking. Thanks.

I should really get my kitchen cleaned & sanitized so I can cook regularly again...

They literally put exp dates on canned foods to scare people into buying more who are ignorant of the concept of canning food
