Where I live, children learn how to kill and clean these things around ten years old

Can you imagine a coastie eating deer or any wild game, let alone field dressing it? If they could, of course, shoot it first without breaking down and crying at the sight of a firearm or a bow.

Until a bunch of butch cunts who wear cheal camouflage jackets turn their homes into hunting ground property because they can't go their whole lives without the sensation of taking something as amazing as life from another creature. Hunters are would be serial killers who train their children to be vicous beasts who are not going to go far in life and set back the human race in terms of technological prowess and achievement. If we respected deer AND didn't treat them like disposable prey then the nation would benefit tenfold. If you cannot empathize with deer then you should be hospitalized. You're fucked up. Well let's see. Europe produces amazing cheese and manages to make enough that I can buy it anywhere. Some of it is unavailable, for sure, but I can walk out of the office and select from a wall of just different kinds of robiolas and another wall of just different kinds of parmigiano reggiano at the store around the corner. New England, maybe because it's close to me, I can do the same, walls of cheese. California is a bit less common here on the east coast but again, a pretty decent selection.

Wisconsin? Nope.

So clearly you make a few good cheeses, but let's face it. Population of Italy? A lot, can't even be fucked to look it up. Population of California? Probably bigger than Italy, for all I know. Population of Wisconsin? Maybe a million? Two million? You are not eating more cheese than Italy and Vermont and California combined.

Plebs is right. No one who cares about cheese thinks "Wisconsin" is a sign of quality. It's like "Australia" on a bottle of wine. Maybe hipsters buy it to show how counterculture they are "but anon they actually do make good stuff you've never heard of it because you're too mainstream mannnnn". In America the states on the east and west coasts are home to most major cities (barring some one-offs, notably Houston and Chicago) and boast the highest population densities. So, most people who go to visit someplace in the nation that's worth visiting have to fly over those states to get to the other coast.

The middle of the country is primarily flat, scrubby fields, rolling farmland, state parks, uninhabitable desert, and scatterings of small towns/cities of minimal influence. In comparison the coasts have a mix of large cities and a lot of lush natural beauty. While there are exceptions both ways, this is a general rule.

Source: I've gone on 3 cross-country roadtrips and driving through the middle of the country is, for the most part, either barren and isolated or cheesy small-town. When you drive between coastal cities you don't get that as much because there are a lot of connecting towns and well-kempt highways through a variety of terrain that distract from the low area population.

I was just being descriptive. There are massive empty farmfields for miles and miles on end. There are dusty, barren desert wastelands. These comprise majorities of states that stretch for hundreds of miles across.

I'm certainly not saying it's entirely without merit, but there's little in the center of the country worth specifically visiting besides the national parks and a few decent cities. Chicago and Salt Lake City are gorgeous, two of my favorite cities in the country, but I sure as hell wouldn't voluntarily go back to, say, 99% of Kansas.

Non-/k/omrade here. What's a "bullet button"? (For a second I thought, "Isn't the bullet button the trigger?")

>> No.6446016

>>6444956

I'm not the guy you're replying to, but It seems like a very useful life skill to me. A person that doesn't know how to hunt is dependent on others for their food. A person who can hunt can provide food for themselves and others. (Same applies to gardening and fishing as well)

>> It teaches you that you can kill something with a firearm; that's it.

Not at all. Everyone knows that firearms can kill things whether they hunt or not. Knowing HOW to do it is a completely different thing. It encompasses knowing how to find your game, how to identify what game can be taken--both legally, as well as from a health and safety perspective. You also learn how to skin and butcher the animal. Most hunters end up learning additional things, like how to make sausage and jerky in order to avoid wasting meat. Hunting is also useful if you want to procure ingredients that can be difficult to find. Every market in the country sells boneless skinless chicken breast, but that's boring. What if you want kidneys? Intestines for sausage casing? The lesser-known cuts? Or maybe you simply want to enjoy some venison backstrap without paying $100 at a fancy restaurant. Hunting can enable all of these things. And as I said before, the same applies to other forms of finding food on your own: fishing, gardening, foraging for mushrooms, etc.

You are confusing a "bullet button" with a "magnet button".
A bullet button is a magazine release that cannot be operated with a finger, rather it rewquires a small pointed tool, such as the tip of a pointed bullet.

A magnet button is a thing that reverses the effect of the bullet button, enabling it to be operated with a finger. In other words, a magnet button is simply a pointed tool that operates a bullet button and happens to contain a magnet so it sticks itself in place.

This is wrong because the bullet button, by definition, is ALWAYS attached to the rifle. He used the word "bullet button" but he should have said "red button" aka "magnet button".

The bullet button is always a part of the gun. The magnet/red button is the part which is removable.
