I think so, it looks more appetizing and usually more rich in nutrients.

My husband made dinner a few nights ago, and everything tasted great...but it was breaded pork chops, baked potato and corn, it was a very bland looking plate of food. But I just thanked him for cooking when I was pressed for time, and still much better than something processed/out of the freezer.
