crazy idea. Can't find anything in google about it so I come here.

Cooking with Tobacco/Nicotine as a Spice?

>> No.6427296

doesn't sound appealing at all. nicotine is a psychoactive drug, not a spice. if you want to add drugs to food there are better drugs out there than shitty nicotine

tobacco isn't known for its flavor when eaten, but your best bet is trying a fresh tobacco plants probably and seeing if they taste good enough to add to food? rather than the cured and prepared form in cigarettes and other smokables

not gonna work I guarantee it

doesn't ingesting it lead to stomach ulcers.

theres that one webm of that really expensive mixed drink where they blow cigar smoke into the mixer

>> No.6427304

Nicotine is highly poisonous when ingested, so there's that.

You could smoke some food with tobacco, but I can't help but think it would just make the food taste like an office smoke room ashtray.

Cooking with weed is much more interesting for flavour/effect

No, not everyone. Someone with cerebral palsy might have difficulty pouring the liquids, for instance.

not the point. Unless you prove to me that you can do that, and have it taste correctly, you should stop being such an obvious shit talker.

most bars won't take you as a bartender without like 2 years experience or you have to start as a bar back. I mean if you want to work at some shit chain like buffalo wild wings, sure little training, a week probably but to be a real bartender?
You clearly don't know what you're talking about.

Actually in some companies in NYC, before the anti smoking laws went into effect you can smoke in the open, an example is Philip Morris, now known as Altria.

It's a big enough company and pay enough taxes to New York so that laws can be written around that and they can tell faggots to piss the fuck off.

>> No.6428598

Actually tried this. Used some tobacco in a chili I'd made. It wasn't good. "Fail" from everyone who tried it.

Restaurants do that because they don't want to take the time to teach someone. If you walked someone through the tasks of serving beer/wine and mixing drinks, they'd learn rather quickly. Being a bartender is more about looks and style than skill.
