I know frozen microwave meals are frowned upon, but I eat them once in a while if I need something quick at work.

What are your favorite brands/meals? For being made in the microwave, I enjoy Marie Callender's pot pies quite a bit

Not frozen, but I find these to be pretty tasty, filling, and cook in minutes.

My wife agrees that almost any Marie Callender's dish is good food.

Marie Callenders has some decent frozen meals when they're on sale, I really dont mind some of them. Pic related

I also enjoy the occasional frozen pot pie. I'm trying to lose weight, so I've been eating frozen veggie burgers for my occasional "naughty" lunch lately. I'd like to make my own, but my food processor and blender both died on me, so you know...

I love frozen vegetables, too. I inherited eating frozen, uncooked peas and corn from my grandma. Sounds weird, but it's refreshing and relatively guiltless. Sorry if I drunk-ranted too much.

Personally I prefer oven cooking, microwave always seems to dry them out.
On a side note, does anyone else eat potpies with rice? I always enjoy having a layer of rice underneath to soak up the gravy.

I've never had a potpie with rice, but I feel like a beef one would probably be pretty good with rice on the side

I started getting into using rice as a texturizer for food. Even a little cooked rice in a salmon patty or in a soup is good. It's all good for me, kind of like how some people like bread with everything

I'm close enough to a supermarket so I can get a frozen dinner if I don't feel like cooking....

I don't remember who it was but someone gave me a chicken pot pie once and it had rice in it. It was the best chicken pot pie I have ever had in my life.

Maries pot pies are nice, a bit pricey here, stoufferes stuffed bell pepper, basgetie , lasangna or meatlof again pretty expensive, swansons ischeaper "salsbury steak allhave a tonof salt, which Imust avoidfor health ,blood pressuse and kidney reasons. And no, not "that guy" I try and avoid prepared frozen dinnersevery night I like swamsons pot pies, abuck each. Maries tends tobe 3 bucks and can make chicken pies myself for that(canned chicken, large can or bag mixed veg, canned biscuits, and you are there. Marie's is good but expensive and all are very high sodium.

Curries tend to work out quite well in the microwave if they're from a decent manufacturer.

Most of the Lean Cuisine meals are pretty good, they're just small since it's about weight loss or whatever

You'd be surprised how good they turn out, it comes in a tin tray you microwave it in and it gets nice and crispy, probably one of the best microwave meals I've had

Honestly the only good microwaveable meal I've had tends to be lasagna.

They used to carry these at my local Kroger, I'd stock up when they'd go on sale for $2 each -which was great, because there's 2 in there, and they're pretty satisfying. Haven't seen them in a couple years now, though.

Lean cuisines are good but aren't filling at all. They're like a snack if anything. Seems like they'd encourage overeating because you're still starving after you eat one.
