For homemade chinese this isn't bad. Everything you need is in the box. Chicken, sauce, etc.

We put it over a cup and a half of rice and 2 eggrolls each, nice big serving for two people

I made it mild as fuck but it was filling

I fucked up the first time but I'm starting to get it down now: make a water roux using 1/4th of flour plus about 1/16 equivalent tapioca flour

Pour on the rest of the flour and add a small amount of fat, mix for a while and let rest/hydrate.

Flour it and flatten as thin as possible then cook on pan thirty seconds pressing the edges to seal each side before laying on open flame rotating around for an even charring and inflation.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy dates. I already have tibs roman, tamarind pulp, baobab fruit pap (which is very tasty when cooked) - basically it'll be a sweet tagine but based on a Malian stew.

Made some chicken liver pate and some garlic/rosemary bread. Love the shit out of it, but I hate making it because I make it in large amounts and no one else I know likes it, so I end up dumping a fair amount of it, because I get tired of eating it all day.

Got some goat cheese that I have to strain tomorrow, that I love, but again large amounts and no one will help me finish it.

OP here, this is what I used. Even though I'm a Famous Dave's guy, this is easily my favorite store bought sauce. I know Walmart carries it for less than $3 a bottle. It's sweeter than most, but it's amazing when paired with vinegary cole slaw.
