Last night I made cucumber avocado rolls.
I ate 4 of them.
I cooked one full cup of sushi rice and added a tablespoon of sugar and one of vinegar.
One whole cucumber and one medium avocado.
4 sheets of nori.
How many calories was this?
I ate all of it :(

About three fiddy.

4 whole rolls or 4 sliced roll-pieces?

The bulk of your calories was probably in the sugar you added. You won't get fat on rice and avocado, not unless you chug HUGE amounts every day.

dont listen to this paleo advocating bro science nigger.

The bulk of your calories was from rice. You pretty much ate 3 or 4 cooked bowls of rice, and 1 tbsp of sugar.

nigga do you know how much rice you just ate

Ummm...look up nutritional info on the ingredients, estimate amounts, and add it up.

You had a good hunk of carbs and fat. If you used soy you had a good bit of sodium too

Time for some science up in this bitch:

Rice : 1.1 calories per gram
Avocado : 1.6 calories per gram
Sugar: 3.9 calories per gram

OP, if you know how much in weight you ate, you can do the math yourself.

You ate four rolls?

It depends on the rice, but you probably used 1/2 cups per roll, so two cups of cooked rice would be 408 calories.

I doubt the cucumber and avocado have many calories in them, along with the nori. I'd say overall, probably like 500 calories?

One cup of avocado is about 230 calories, who cares if it's fattening? OP is asking specifically about calories.

Honestly, I doubt he used a cup, even if he did, 700 calories isn't bad considering he ate four fucking rolls.

If you ate under 2000 calories a day, it wouldn't matter what you ate. You could eat three Big Macs and you'd still lose weight.

>> No.6366767

I often do these rolls, I put 50 grams of rice in each one so it should be about the same in yours, 200 grams of rice seems to be about 260 calories, and I think you don't have to worry about the rest of the ingredients.

Add up the calories of the whole recipe: cup of rice cals, 45 sugar cals, and whole avocado cals. Divide by 1/2th, or whatever portion you ate of the whole batch. Everything else is negligible and can be ignored.

Op took one cup of rice and cooked it.
Not the same.

Yup.
OP, you triple it. You used two cups of water and one cup of dry rice, and it goes to the volume of 3 cups cooked, or thereabouts.
