well you could lightly add cinnamon and sugar
or a thin layer of butter and/or jelly (or whatever)
(I suppose you could use margarine instead of butter; as long as you are intelligent enough to not lie to yourself about how "its so much better than butter")

Realistically you could toast the bread then make a sandwich/burger.

It is toast eat it however you want, ultimately your enjoyment of the toast is whats important.

Alright, here's what I put on toast. This is all separately, btw. Marmite, margarine (I like it better than butter on toast for some reason), basil+chopped tomato+mozarella+balsamic vinegar, uhhh, pate, maybe an open faced cheese sandwich?
That's pretty much it.

Milk creme with coconut, mocha spread with coffee bean pieces. They're the best sweet spreads I've ever had.

Other good toppings- peanut butter and sliced banana, a fried egg, mashed avocado and goat's cheese with lots of black pepper and lemon juice, melted cheddar, marmalade, or just piping hot toast with lots of good butter.
