I was trying to draw connection between the dry landscape of the gaza strip and that of the chicken. I'm only explaining it now because I admit it was a very poor attempt at humor.

well, that was on point, thanks :)
I don't like it because it overrides taste of food, may as well eat anything and put lot of chilli on it and it will just taste like .. spicy

so like miniature chicken parmesan? sounds yummy. I would use a tomato sauce like for pasta or something.

So fry some chopped onion in a pot with butter over medium heat, when the onion (use 1/2 per can of tomatoes) is soft (translucent) add some chopped garlic (1-3 cloves, smash them with the side of a knife and easily peel the papery skin, then chop) and cook five more minutes. Stir occasionally. Add a can of diced tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Dice fresh basil (as much as you would like- I use a whole hand full of leaves), and add a tsp of dried oregano to the sauce stir around and cook for five more minutes. Add salt to taste and use as sauce.

Thanks! Also went through my mind, nice bolognese base recepie. And yeah, they are neat, I stuffed it with grana padana and warped in regular warp with some sesamme seeds :)

I guess I will go with red sauce, but was thinking about something thicker.
Is there a way how to make that sauce more thick, or does it work only with cold dips ?
Also how to store such sauce, if I don't have freezer (19, living abroad, budget, what can you do ...) if I store it in fridge, I guess I will have to eat till next day.

to thicken it you could drain the tomatoes before you add them or just simmer the sauce over a lower heat setting for a long time. Stir occasionally to ensure it doesn't stick. To store it just let it cool down on it's own and put it in a glass jar with a top or a plastic airtight container and refrigerate it. It should last about a week max. five days to be safe.
