My mother sent me a 'corned beef kit' complete with the beef itself, potato pancakes, some sort of rye bread and horseradish mustard.

I threw away the outer box like an idiot because I saw some of the stuff had heating directions on the packaging. The beef does not.

I know it's fully cooked.

How should I go about reheating it? Just slowly in the oven?

I've got it thawing now.

Sounds about right. You could put it in some cold water to help thaw it if it's in a package.
Some of the contents might have a website address on the label, there might be reheating instructions there.

You could also check to see if the packaging it still wherever you threw it out... you might get lucky.

After it thawed I threw it in some foil, put it on a pan and left it in the oven at 275 for like 20 minutes or something.

Worked out nicely, my suspicions were correct, it was pre-sliced.

Well yeah, it was fucking great.

Super tender, juicy, moist, flavorful. Even the bread was good.

Label indicates it was from 'Manny's Deli' in Chicago. They don't ship things like this, though, and I vaguely recall the outer cooler box was marked 'Lou' something or rather.

It's my mom's way of both surprising me and tempting me to move to Chicago from Texas (fuck no). She does it from time to time.

Last time she sent me deep dish pizzas.
