How do you take you coffee or tea?
Strong/weak? Preferred brewing method?
Sugar? Milk?

>> No.6314447

>>6314443
Strong tea, iced with lemon. Hold the sugar faggot.

>> No.6314448

Black and weak, or as strong as possible with tons of cream and sugar.
Feel this way for both drinks.
For coffee, weak/black gets a pourover while homebrew Starbucks is best from a French press.

>> No.6314452

Depends on what kind of coffee or tea.

I drink coffee black, and I drink tea by itself. If I go to a coffee place, I get 3 shots of espresso or an Americano, usually with an extra shot. Sometimes I make a drink with Abuelita instant hot chocolate, milk, and espresso. It's so damn good. Once in a blue moon, I get a Vietnamese iced coffee.
I'd love to try Turkish coffee. It doesn't sound very good, but it would be an interesting experience whether I enjoyed it or not.

Coffee, black and strong. Strong by the standards of coffee I've experienced at least.

I'm not really a tea drinker.

>> No.6314478

I drink a lot of english breakfast tea. One scoop of sugar, with a shot of half and half. That with two homemade biscotti is what I normally have for breakfast.

>> No.6314479

I drink coffee black, strong if possible, although I've started drinking long espresso instead of short and it's pretty good. If I'm getting it iced though, I take it with a bit of milk.

Same with black tea, as strong as possible and nothing added. Except when it's iced. Strong with lemon, no sugar.

I like pic related. My go to tea for day or night. I hate caffeine, it makes me feel like shit, so I stick with caffeine-free teas.

I use filtered water, boiled (or microwaved if I'm in a hurry), half a teaspoon of pure honey (my dad farms bees) and let the teabag soak for about 5-7 minutes. Remove bag and enjoy.

I'm curious, I'm not a tea nut or anything, but if someone knows of any similar type teas to pic related, please let me know. I'm always looking to try new things.

I like my coffee black and kind of weak, it upsets my stomach if too strong it seems.

I grew up in Ireland, on a farm, so I mostly drink super strong black tea with milk. Just a drop of milk, really, enough to notice it and no more.

I'm pretty into chamomile these days, though. Kind of making an effort to curb the strong black tea 10 times a day habit, maybe keeping whiter teeth for a few more years in the process.

I was raised to believe that putting sugar in any hot beverage was disgusting

I was a barista for like 5 years when I dropped out of my highly selective east coast liberal arts undergraduate institution in the 90s. Get some distance and you can have fun with it.

I once had someone (probably an australian) tell me that aeropress was "essentially the same as espresso" or some shit. This new generation of wannabes with their special made up words like "pourover" are ridiculous and can be a source of great fun if you aren't too emotionally invested.

What makes you say that? Australia has one of the most advanced coffee cultures in the world. It's why the McCafé was invented here adopted world-wide. Admittedly McCafé is shit-tier but that shows how developed Australia's coffee culture is. McDonald's is global but they didn't do anything about their coffee untill the Australian market demanded it.

>How do you take you coffee or tea?
Depends who's asking. If I'm a guest in someone's home for the first time I usually request a 'white with one' because it's a safe bet.
Elsewhere I'll have an espresso because that way I get to judge the craftmanship of the brewer/barista.
>Strong/weak?
You can't really make an espresso strong or weak. The flavour comes from the bean/roast, and I prefer a milder roast.
>Preferred brewing method?
Espresso, followed by moka pot. Then instant above all else.
>Sugar? Milk?
Preferably not. But if the barista is subpar and their coffee is bitter then I'll add as much sugar as I think it needs, making sure that the barista sees this. It's an effective way of telling a barista that his coffee is shit. The more sugar you add the greater the insult. I die a little inside every time I see someone add sugar to an espresso that I've brewed.

I've never liked it. My Nan was passionate about her tea and I'm confident that I've had quality stuff made by her but I've just never hooked onto it like I have with coffee.

Coffee. French roast gets a reasonable balance of flavors. Best blend is mix of mocha, mysore and colombian in 1:1:2 ratio. Made with filter. Consumed black, untainted with anything else.

If treating myself, add a nice cookie or piece of expensive chocolate on the side.
