Chili with/without beans argument aside what can you tell me about pic related /ck/?
It goes by the name Cincinnati Chilli but looks like some sort of spaghetti bolognese. Is it spicy, does it taste like chili ?

which is why it is good. shit tier beef over seasoned with oregano, stuffed into a poor quality sub roll then drowned in fatty "jus" until the roll is mushy does not make a good sandwich. all the spicy Italian pickles in the world can't save it from its inherent shittyness.

If you need to taste something worthy in that vein may I recommend a French Dip? It's a much less shitty version of an Italian Beef.

You're wrong. It was created during a craze for French bread sandwiches in the US at the turn of the 20th Century (where the whole sub/hoagie thing came from). While similar sandwiches existed in Brooklyn, the first to call it a French dip were in Los Angeles. The "French" part of it is that it's built on French bread, and dipped into the jus.

It is the non-abortion version of the Italian beef. I have no idea what the fuck went wrong in Chicago to result in the Italian beef, but it's probably the same thing that fucked up your pizza.

Well you see, Cincinnati was Detroit before Detroit became what it is now. The desperately poor and starving underclasses that were abandoned in this urban wasteland were forced to fend for themselves, living off the scraps of civilization that remained.
