Sup /ck/

I've bought some mushrooms (oyster, shiitake, button and king oyster mushrooms) just for shits and giggles, but I have no idea what to do with them. Just stir frying them seems too boring.

Any recommendations?

Mushroom gravy. Try it.

I don't know if I would combine them all or not. I think I remember cooking oyster mushrooms with just olive oil and maybe some butter with a little garlic or something like that and eating them on top of twice baked potatos with steak. So I guess that would be even less than a stirfry, lol, but IMO it's good to enjoy them by themselves. For the rest maybe a cream of mushroom soup or something? Sautéed mushroom/onion/swiss burger?

Yeah, to me it feels kinda wrong to combine all mushrooms into one recipe.

First, I thought of pasta with a creamy mushroom sauce. But I don't know if the cream could overpower the taste of the shiitake or if the oyster mushrooms really fit in.

Cream would be a good base for the mushroom flavor.

I made a mushroom pasta without cream before. I used rosemary, garlic, some tomato. The rosemary went so well with it; a really woodsy flavour. Cream is good though. Add plenty of pepper! Yum.
