Swede here.
First off, NEVER eat them with pasta, for fuck's sake. You enjoy them with boiled potatoes, brown sauce and lingon berries (if you want to). Possibly fried onions too, it's good.

Take bread crumbs, add milk, let swell for a while. Add spices (salt, pepper). Let ground beef join the mixture. Add egg. Stir.
Wash hands, but do not dry them, keep your hands wet. Roll balls. Fry in butter. Eat immediately.
