A patrician IPA, once again proving that Americans are #1 at everything, including not just craft beer, but innovative new hops. Enjoy your limp-dick lagers, europoors. Haven't you heard? Saaz is deprecated.

Yeah they're nice. I'd kill for one of the old flint bottles for my collection though.

If I had to describe it, I'd say its very smooth, with vanilla oakey taste on top and tiny bitterness as you reach the bottom, but i think its just the lack of buzz from being the first drink that caused this. When I had it on tap at this beer expo in January it was smooth as hell.

If you wanna try something good, Its Irish Red season right now, I'd reccommend trying this Brian Boru from Three Floyds, or if you more east coast Harpoon's Celtic Ale.

I picked some Name Tag up and it was very surprising how good the value/cost ratio was.

I picked some more up from the same store about two or three months later and the beer had developed off-flavors- I think the pilsner had extra high DMS to begin with and they both picked up diacetyl as time went on. They were on unrefrigerated shelves.
