Last time I did a stir fry for her.

This thyme around I'm thinking of making maple glazed carrots and steak. And then some form of wine. If you could offer a suggestion for a type of wine that would be great.

Honestly, if doing carrots, roast them, along with potatoes, parsnips, celerybeets. No disrespect to Bugs bunny, but I dislike carrots,boiled or "glazed" necessary for mir poix,and good in stock I went to a rather expensive steak house.The ribeye was great, and sweet potato, also they served it with "glazed" carrots. instant death. why not green beans or asparagus, or spinach. Carrots are prison or hospital food,especially boiled and "glazed".Roasted is different .they can be good. Good luck to you.
