Don't live near there any more, but was best burger place I had tried in the whole Inland Empire. Liked 5 guys in Moreno Valley, and the one by the mall in Temecula a lot too, but the other 2 or 3 I had tried(Temecula by wally world, Menifee, cant remember the 3rd) were mediocre to bleh.

here in utah, iceberg is probably the best burger joint.

the burgers are pretty average, but the rest of the menu is fantastic. gigantic onion rings with plenty of fry sauce, super thick milkshakes, etc.

I think some Greek family moved to salt lake years ago and started restaurants. They got divorced and the wife took half the restaurants and renamed em. That's why crown and astro burger are similar. No idea about Apollo.

Utah. I don't know if they even have em any more but polar queen/polar queen. On a lesser tier arctic circle, and a seafood place we have here in 84044. Polar queen was my childhood. Thin griddled burgs fresh as hell with lettuce and pickles and fry sauce. Shitloads of fresh fries.

I dunno if they shut down the "fish n chips" place near me but last time I went I think I got a whole entire fish, coleslaw, and bucket of fries for about 12 bucks. Think they're gone.

I dunno. Utah's all right. Shitty state compared to yknow, our neighbors, but I've pretty much always eaten good here.

When I lived in md for two years, I loved seasons pizza and rita's.

Started in Decatur and has moved outside of Atlanta but a damn good burger. All grass fed, local beef and produce without being much more expensive than 5 guys. Interesting burger combinations and healthy yet amazing salads. Occasionally do really good takes on southern classics like pork cheek mac and cheese, scotch eggs and fried sweet potato and pimento cheese fritters. Plus good local beer on tap.

Only downside is just about everyone that works there looks like they belong in an American Apparel. Nice staff though so unless you have a burning hatred for hipsters its worth it.

A bourbon bar oddly enough. Excellent food (albeit overuse of andouille sausage to some degree). Burger is absolutely great and comes with slightly spicey sweet potato chips.

What exactly makes up the burger changes from time to time and this isn't the burger that I grew to love but I'm sure it's great nonetheless.

The best burger I have ever had was at BIll's Hamburgers.

It's very similar to in-n-out (but better, especially the beef), but the dude has a 50-year old grill that has it's own flavor. He says he tries to make the same burgers at home and they're not the same.

He doesn't even serve fries! Bag of Lay's. Burger is so worth it.

I hate that there's no good burger joints in my town. One of the local bars makes really good burgers, but only for 2 hours during lunch. Everywhere else is cheffy $8+ burgers with stale rolls, or clam shacks that make shitty frozen patty burgers for the 4 year olds that won't eat seafood.

Yup. Around where I work there's a really good lunch scene. Lots of small ma-and-pa type places.

You pay a bit more, and some of them can be very inconsistent, but they actually give a fuck, because one guy has a bad meal, goes back and complains around the office, you may have just lost a shit tonne of customers. The office worker lunch market is very fickle. A place can become hot due to one really good experience, and abandoned just as fast because of a bad experience, and they know that.
