Speaking as an adult woman whose parents did not get her braces:

Get her braces. Seriously. It's not ~just~ the straightness of her teeth from a cosmetic standpoint, malocclusion can cause uneven wear and stress, leading to other problems down the line... But even if it was just a cosmetic thing, it is way easier and less painful to get it sorted out when you're 14 vs. when you're 30.
