literally just turkey and chicken sandwiches with mustard. Maybe once or twice a week when I'm not lay as shit I'll make a batch of rice and a couple chicken breasts. It only lasts me one day. Cooking is such a pain in the ass for a little enjoyment

When I'm hungry and I need something quick, filling, tasty, and near zero prep...

I throw about a cup of frozen three bell pepper onion blend in a small pot and cook it down.
then add two strips of roughly chopped bacon to brown up
toss in a clove of garlic, mashed
black pepper, cayenne, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano
add in about a cup of pinto beans from a can
add a cup of chicken stock, and a quarter bay leaf
bring it to a boil, simmer for 20 minutes while I do whatever (usually shower at the end of the day)
when I come back, I check for salt or spice, put it in a bowl and enjoy

and sometimes I do black beans with onions, peppers, carrots. usually just with salt, pepper, bay, and water, no stock.

Usually something centered around ground beef, beans, and rice because I'm a poorfag and have to feed another person.
>tacos/burritos with refried beans and corn
>dorito bake
>chili with beans
>rice and chorizo with beans
Sometimes I get lucky and get my hands on some cheap offal like beef heart and liver.

I dislike pasta or else I'd make something poorfaggy out of that too.

Spicy Chorizo Pasta recipe off the BBC Food website. It was one of the first meals I ever cooked a couple of years ago and it remains a firm favourite. Also all the ingredients keep for a good long while so you can just have them sitting in the cupboard/fridge until you feel like using them.

Chicken thighs and baked potatoes.
The other meal I make to often is tuna salad sandwich and baked potatos. I like baked potatoes.

>> No.6224315

Make peanut sauce, place on udon or soba noodles. It's acceptable on spaghetti too if you have reached maximum laziness. Take a peeler and peel carrots into it. Meme sauce and chopped peanuts on top. It can be served hot or cold.

You can add fresh cilantro and pretty much any vegetable if you actually have them.

It's the thing I make when I don't care and don't want to cook and just need to put food into my body so I don't die.

>> No.6224339

I have this rice dish that is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike paella that I make every week. Mostly rice, tuna, peas and bell peppers. You can pretty much stretch the dish as far as you want by adding more rice.
Also, noodles with marinara sauce.

>>6224236

Would that be the one with broccoli or the one with butternut?

>> No.6224366

lean burger, taco season, drained canned corn, chopped canned green chilies, sour cream, texas pete or crystal. good stuff.

I add 3 or 4 chopped up sausages from a local butcher, usually mix their double fennel with spicy italian

add rice, yams, potato, or some other cheap starch, you got cheap meals for a week
