Hi cookies

I really want to make a sweet potato pie, preferably a savoury one. I looked up some recipes but they are all really sugary. If you know a good recipe for a savoury pie, I would love to hear it. Also, I've never made a pie before so tips for making pies are welcome. I'd make biscuits but I don't have an oven tray at the moment.
