Does /ck/ like DiGiorno when its on sale?

>> No.6186927

>>6186921
I like stuffed crust
I cook it just long enough to melt all the cheese so it's nice and stringy

>> No.6186929

>>6186921
No. The sauce is shit, the dough tastes like cinnamon bread, and it's salty as fuck. Worst frozen pizza

>> No.6186935

>>6186929
>protip: if it's frozen it's not a pizza.

>> No.6186940

Does /ck/ agree Little Caesars > DiGiorno for $5?

>if it's in the fridge leftovers it transforms into something other than pizza
>if it's bought it's not pizza
>if you didn't make it in your home fire brick oven it's not pizza
>if you didn't make the cheese and sauce yourself it's not pizza
>if it's not pure italian made by Italians it's not pizza
>if you think it's pizza it's probably not pizza
your food is all a fucking lie sheeple

>> No.6186944

I hate digiorno. Every time I make it it ends up tasting like raw dough.

>when it's on sale
nigga are you so poor you can't afford frozen pizza?

>> No.6186988

Absolutely. Even Jack's 2$ pizza > DiGiorno

>> No.6187026

I prefer Red Baron.

>>6186968
It's more like frozen pizza is a ripoff. For the same price, I could just go pick up a fresh pizza from a pizzeria.

>> No.6187063

We have it quite a bit. We get pizza every thursday, usually papa johns. A lot of locations has deals when local sports teams win. whenever 2 local collages win in their sports game, a nearby baseball team, or the st louis blues hockey team, your entire order is 50% with the applicable promo code.

Pizza and a movie. Usually a extra large Works, add pineapple + extra cheese. 20$ pizza becomes 10 and a half.

However when things don't fall right for that to be half off, we have a deep freezer kept with 2-3 digornos gotten when on sale. Dress them up with our own mushrooms and pineapple, extra cheese. Really love 'em. I wouldn't really want it every week compared to PJ, but it works.

To suppliment it we'll usually deep fry some mozzarella sticks or some other appetizer things we find in the freezer section, and cheese curls or some kind of chips.

Oh also I recently found I love dipping them in BBQ sauce. Dunno whats up with that.

Otherwise, regarding pizza, some nights I'll just throw in a Tonys pizza in the oven. For cheap frozen, they work pretty good for the value. Fold it over and eat it like a taco.

I used to like tombstone for quite a while. But I haven't had it in some time.

>> No.6187150

Freschetta used to be pretty good. Dunno what happened to them but the sauce is extra-spicy now and the dough is very dry.

UNOs is shit though.

where are you from? Pizzaria pizza is usually 3 times more expensive where i live.

>> No.6188035

No it sucks, id rather get carry out or delivery from dominos or pizza hut when they have those like 7 dolalr pizzas or whatever. DiGiorno is awful, sauce sucks, dough is nasty just eh.

I liked the garlic bread crust pizza they had. it was greasy as fuck though.

>> No.6189815

Where I live your choices are papa johns, pizza hut, little caesars, frozen, or home made.

>> No.6189823

That's why I like it.

>that melty pizza goodness

>> No.6189831

For me, Papa Murphy's $5 manager's special >>>Little Caeser's Hot n' Ready >>>>>frozen shit

none of them are great, but I actually prefer the cheap ass take and bake gimmick from papa murphy's to the other megachains

>> No.6189833

>>6186921
Sure. Saves me a lot of money compared to delivery. I've had pic related. Not bad for around $4.

>oh hey Superbowl's coming up, that's perfect
>mfw my family decides to have pizza THREE times this week (we were moving) before Sunday

DiGiorno's okay, it's a little richer than Little Caesar's.

I fucking love digorno. They used to be better before nestle bought them though

Gonna be grabbing 2 of them + a bag of FF chicken strips, gonna cost me $10 for all 3.

>> No.6192242

I like DiGiorno pizzas, but their combo stuff is shit. They have pizza and "wynz" or whatever they're called because they're so processed they can't be called wings. And the one with cookies is shit as well
