Have you ever attempted any food challenges or entered eating competitions? We're you successful? Are there any that you've been thinking of trying?

I've been watching Man v Food lately and some of them seem pretty doable, but I'm not sure I'd actually go down and do them.

At a restaurant called The Office they had a one pound burger challenge. If you ate the whole burger in one sitting then you got a free shirt. In like 3 days I had 8 shirts, after that they told me they couldn't give me any more shirts.

Nah wasn't that sort of place. Would have been cool though. I don't think they ever did something like that again after that, and this was like 12 years ago.

We did a Weetabix eating competition at college. You were allowed a certain amount of milk per four bricks, but it wasn't much. A couple of the guys went to throw up afterwards, and it was so thick they had to "pinch off".

i can do spice challenges pretty easily but fuck messing around with quantity based ones, it's not fun and i already struggle to stay at a normal weight.

I did one that was
>8 huge scoops of homemade ice cream
>4 toppings
>1cup of chocolate syrup
>1cup of strawberry syrup
>1cup of caramel
>Whipped cream
>1 cherry
In 20mins

Went with with 3 chocolate, 5 vanilla ice cream and 4x peanuts

>Peanuts cut my mouth so bad it bled
>Finished just in time
>Literally shit a white slurry with the force of a firehose 3 hours later

Felt bad man
>They gave you a white shirt with their shitty logo for your trouble

i did the wingstop atomic wing challenge. the deal was if you eat 8 or something atomic wings in one sitting or a certain amount of time without cleaning your hands or drinking water then you dont have to pay. I did it, and even though the manager said i couldnt do it he gave me a free beer after. I was told during the challenge that my eyes were bloodshot, i was sweating and in the morning when i had to shit was like my asshole was on fire.

I won a pancake challenge when I was on a family vacation in Tennessee.

They were some sort of pumpkin spice flavor, and I didn't have any choice in the matter.

I won the challenge, but fuck pancakes and anything pumpkin spice related

Shelly's in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; famous for raw oysters.

Take a challenge to beat the last record-holder of 10 minutes. Win, free; lose, pay.

Last champ was a tiny girl, 102; I got to 113. got a shirt, free meal and a pic on the wall.

also buffalo wild wings blazin' challenge, but that is just 12 wings in 5 minutes in houston tx at least...after a few your mouth is numb, just keep eating at that point who cares.

shit fire tho.

I did a pho challenge last year. I believe it was 1kg noodles and 1 kg meat and soup. You had to finish in 30 minutes. If you finish it you get the meal free and you get to keep the bowl.

I almost beat it but lost because the soup was hot as fuck. Had a burnt mouth for a whole week. Afterwards we went somewhere else for dinner because I wasn't even full.

I do something similar once a year, At the Buffalo Wing Fest, there is usually one vendor that has had a Ghost, Jokia, or Reaper wing and if I can eat 3, I win. Than I lose for the rest of the day, but I did get a t-shirt once, that was cool. Im all about the personal victory. Get some prep-h wipes before hand tho, those lil cooling ass wipes help alot.

I agree it does look easy as fuck but like he said it was hot as fuck, they probably boil that shit up extra hot. I'd like to see you gulp down a bowl of boiled water within half an hour.

Couldn't you ask them to serve it cold? It being hot really does seem to be the only challenge.

There's this one in Swansea I've wanted to do for ages. I don't know how the fuck you'd manage it, though. It looks pretty grim.

>10 bacon
>5 eggs
>8 sausages
>chips
>2 hash browns
>bubble and squeak
>mushrooms
>tomatoes
>beans
>2 black puddings
>4 toast

A Qdoba that opened on the university of louisville campus did a promotional thing where the first hundred people to show up got free qdoba for a year (52 entrees). It was fucking great.

Anyway while people were waiting (my friend and I showed up many hours early) the qdoba people had a speed eating contest. I eat fast naturally and when I try I'm pretty good. Just how fast you can eat a standard burrito. Destroyed everyone.

Ended up getting interviewed on the radio for my win.

Pretty cool.

Been thinking about the CARNIVORE CHALLENGE.

Probably can't do it though. It's two bros, one hour, twelve pounds of pizza. There's been over 1000 attempts and only a few winners. It's fifty for the pizza but you win 250 if you eat it all. They featured it on the Atlanta episode of MvF. They also showed the quadruple bypass which is a huge burger with grilled cheese sandwiches for buns. Not an official challenge but would still be hard to do.

Sports bar in my town had a 5 pound burger challenge. But it wasn't really 5 pounds of burger. It was a 2 pound burger with 1 pound of fries and 2 pounds of "fixins," which means lettuce, tomato and pickles.

Wasn't that tough. Just gross because the 2 pounds of veggies made it feel like a salad with a sloppy bun and no dressing. At least it was free because I did it in under 25 minutes.

Fraternity on campus had a challenge where you had to eat 4 1 million scoville wings. It wasn't particularly pleasant, but at a certain point the heat just maxes out and you go numb.

Even though I washed my hands, a couple of hours later I went to take a piss and a couple of minutes later I head this warm tingling sensation on my dick and balls. It wasn't uncomfortable, in fact I really enjoyed it. I ended up jerking off while it was happening and the sensation was superb.

Completed the Colossal Challenge at Chick & Ruth's in Annapolis. It was a 6 lb milkshake and a 1lb burger. I chose cookies 'n cream for my milkshake and it was so fucking delicious. Finished half the milkshake in 5 minutes and started shivering and getting cold so I moved onto the burger. The burger was a piece of shit. Took me 45 minutes to finish it because it was so overcooked and lacked any seasoning. Then I chugged the rest of the shake. About an hour later I puked and had diarrhea in one of the buildings of the state legislature.

We used to have this challange at the teriyaki place I work at.

It was this incredibly spicy taco called the zombie.
you had to sign a waiver if you ordered it.
Some 80+ dude ate it and died and the korean boss lady got upset and removed it from the menu.

our less spicy dethtaco though, keeps consistently sending kids to the ER one kid even stopped breathing outside the store.
