They did kind of skimp on the flavoring this time around, but the flavor itself is the same.

Any good suggestions for vegetarian breakfasts? I usually either go for a French breakfast (when I can be arsed to buy some croissants and chocolatines at the local boulangerie) or something like an English breakfast but with more mushrooms to compensate for the lack of meat, but I'm getting a bit tired of those.

As I don't eat desserts as a course for lunch or dinner but like to make them, I have dessert for breakfast with fruit. For instance, I'll have a slice of cake or tart, and maybe two or three different types of fruit for breakfast.

For something more breakfasty, mint white chocolate crepes are probably my favourite sweet crepe. I also enjoy breakfast crepes with baked beans, scrambled eggs, then maybe cheese, leafy vegetables like watercress, baby spinach or lambs lettuce, and/or aioli. (I also like to have them with bacon sometimes.) American-style blueberry and white chocolate pancakes are good too.

For more hearty foods, oatmeal, barley, rice porridge, and congee are all good. Congee is also a great choice for savoury options.

those eggs look fantastic. i usually do a similar number pretty often: buttered toast, shredded
cheddar, and a fried egg usually instead of scrambled, and some meat if i have it. usually i
would mix my eggs a little before putting in the pan so they look more homogeneous. but that
texture you've got is what i aim for. its just fantastic... do you add any creme to them?

try cooking them french style. Instead of medium heat and a dash of milk and vigorously scrambled you take your time.

Add some butter to a pan, let it melt on a lowish heat, when its melted or almost all melted put the whisked eggs in, use a metal spoon and slowly turn the mixture over.

If you hear the eggs sizzling on the bottom of the pan its too hot, take it off the heat and continue slowly mixing. put it back on the heat after a while to continue cooking.

Might take you between 7-10 minutes to make scrambled eggs this way but instead of firm spongy eggs you'll have soft velvety and smooth scrambled eggs.
