Has anyone ever tried ordering a large drink at KFC, and when they ask you what drink you want say gravy.

I like sip[ping on gravy while eating my fried chicken, no joke, and I was wondering if they would sell me a large beverage cup of gravy as a beverage. Anyone work at fast food or tried this before that can tell me if I can get away with this?

Just ask for a large Gravy, I get it all the time. KFC gravy is just a powder mixed with water and chicken fat drippings from the broiler. It is a fixed recipe that all the outlets have to follow to make it. But because the only difference is the chicken fat drippings so some is more salty or darker then other outlets but is is a slight difference.

Gravy costs more than the bulk corn syrup mixes that make up their fountain drinks, which are nearly free to them.

They may be willing to charge you for individually sized containers of gravy and then pour it into a cup for you, but gravy costs more than the drink.
