We know it as Hungry Jack's. Not great, but better value than Macca's. For fast food it's probably one of the better options.

Kinda like a KFC (in concept) except the chicken is actually edible and looks like real chicken. Nowhere near as fatty/oily/greasy as KFC and the chips are nicer too. But they're expensive as fuck and you get much better value at a local chicken roaster. They're like fish and chip shops that are everywhere so they're not hard to find.
Also, Red Rooster use far too much salt.

I don't like fast food, if you haven't already noticed.

A&W - hands down the best fast food around, closest one to me is a 2-3 hour drive north or south and i always eat there when im in those cities. frosty glass root beer mugs and awesome burgers.

Wendy's - not on par with A&W but easily beats McDonalds on every level except for fries.

Subway - up untill about 2 months ago we had 2 in my town, basically its subway what can you say although in my area a trend is starting where all the subways are starting to hire TFW's instead of local people and they can never get a sub right.

McDonalds - we have 2 in my town, 1 right by the highway and 1 at the walmart, honestly the only reason i go to McDonalds is breakfast and their fries.

Pizza Hut - got one in town and all i can say is STUFFED CRUST PIZZA

KFC - we got an old ass KFC in our town and eh its kfc basically just go there for their gravy.

Dairy queen - another 2 - 3 hour drive in either direction to get to dairy queen, but i fucking love blizzards.

Burger King - The only place on this list ive never been to because they dont have any this far north as far as i know.

1. KFC

Nothing is better than fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit. The food isn't that great, but they're the only chain on the list that offers this god-tier Southern classic.

2. Burger King

So much potential it's crazy. They've got to step up their game, though. They need to kind of do what Wendy's is doing, and offer "premium" burgers. But I want to see more manly stuff like the A.1. burger, Rodeo burger and Angry Whopper. They should really market their food more to men. The Whopper has become an American classic up there with the Big Mac, in my opinion.

3. Wendy's

Pig-disgusting french fries, but overall a fairly decent chain with the best value menu and side items.

4. McDonald's

The only place you can get the Big Mac and McNuggets. Best french fries in the world. I love you.

5. Subway

I feel like we're getting into "have to put it on the list" territory now. I only order the meatball sub and, occasionally, the Italian sub. Meh-tier. I'd rather just eat a BLT at home.

6. Pizza Hut

Personal pan pizzas and cheese bread are OK. Stuffed crust is the way to go.

7. A&W

I've only had A&W once or twice, and it eventually closed down. I barely remember the food which I think says a lot. It had onion rings and, obviously, root beer so that's a huge plus in my book. Maybe it was just mismanaged? I guess this list would be different if it had stayed around, because I would have inevitably given it another try like a puppy going back to its abusive owner.

The difference being that in flyover land all you have left when you grow up is that regional fast food chain, whereas on the coasts there are legitimately interesting restaurants other than Old Man McGeezer's Fine Prime Rib & Horseradish with a side of creamed spinach, which is like the finest restaurant in all of Menomowash County, probably.

I've been to culvers. It's pretty good, little better than in and out burger, about on par with shake shack. Every last employee was obese though, it was hilarious.

I haven't eaten junk food for years. I probably should have said that earlier.
My opinion might be somewhat out dated, but I did eat fast food very regularly for a long time and it didn't change at all through that period, so I just assumed it would be much the same today.

But yeah, I admit that I'm probably not a good judge now.
I do eat Subway very regularly though. So that part is still relevant. Meh.
