So I got one of these, and used it for the first time last night. The water tasted great, but I woke up with a sore throat and mild difficulty swallowing. The instructions said to rinse the filter for 15 seconds before installing, and to discard the first 3 changes of water, both of which I did.

So has anyone heard of that happening? I buy a lot of bottled water and was hoping to cut down on that.

if you don't have a quart container call the local chinese place for some hot and sour soup to get one. It will help your throat.

It says to soak for 15 minutes then rinse off for 15 seconds.
I hope you have medical insurance.
You might have dihydrogen monoxide poisoning.

>> No.6094318

You caught a cold at your family's Christmas party because that's what happens when you attend holiday gatherings with your young cousins etc.
