I just tried to drink some eggnog and it was right disgusting. The taste of the eggnog itself was fine but the rum used to make it was way too "burny" for such a thick drink. Cogs down slow and is physically unpleasant to have in your mouth.

No wonder it is a "traditional" drink (aka back from when there was so little decent tasting food people tolerate this garbage.

Trying to figure out how I'm gonna make a Peperidge farm's bag of dressing not turn into ass via casserole method.

I'm thinking some Jimmy Dean Sausage equal parts Sage & Bacon Lover, fresh chives & a vegetable mirepoix with -finely- minced unions (my minime gags on unions) maybe I can trick him into eating it.

Someone I know does to cut the acidity.

>> No.6086876

>>6086872

It's more for balancing the acidity.

Otherwise you're looking at heartburn/reflux/indigestion city or those weird ass swollen tastebud things.

Baking Soda can also be used but rather to neutralize the acidity, it's seemingly too damn strong tho. And can easily fuck up your sauces characters.

Cut in this case means to dilute or adulterate which is what it would be doing. I guess you were thinking of cut as in reducing which implies neutralizing with a base when it comes to acidity.
