My job has taken me all over the country, and beyond (currently living in Hawaii). But now that I'm back home in Arkansas for a week, I gots to get me some of that AQ. Over the Coals, bitches.

Depends what city I'm calling home.
But, it might be cuban food, in a greasy spoon kind of joint where the waitresses have worked 30-40 years, and their mothers before them. I'll get a bistec palomilla, with shoestring fries, mamey milkshake or Jupiña, maduros, mariquitas with mojo appetizer or an empanada or ham croqueta appetizer. And, last but not least some flan. Or else I might take some home.
It might be a pho or bahn mi craving, or a momn pop jerk or jamaican meat patties craving, or a black BBQ joint that I simply must go! Or maybe a colombian hot dog.

NCQ North Carolina Quality. Really not that great, but home. J & S cafeteria. Fresh fruit like watermelon or cantaloupe ,Baked Spaghetti, or Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes, collard greens, fluffy white rolls or jalapeno cornbread, strawberry cheesecake, feed 4 <35. bucks. Back to back Baptist and Methodist churches that vie to get there first (back in parking is allowed, though you are encouraged not to leave the motor running) Preachers who are long winded of any denomination are discouraged.. at 1215 it's time to wind it up, go to J&S or home and eat. and watch the game or NASCAR It's not NYC, but home Not bad.Slow Sundays.

Cleveland is chock full of quirky and unique local joints. Tommy's, Sokolovsky's, The Mad Greek, Night Town, The Grovewood Tavern, Don's Lighthouse, Slyman's Deli, Corky and Lenny's, Pier W... and, of course, a lot of the newer stuff, like Lola, Light, Fire, etc.

Fayettefag here. My personal favorite restaurants around here are Thai E-San on College Avenue for asian food and El Camino Real on School Street for mexican. Both somewhat budget friendly as well, I recommend you try them before heading back home!
