I'm kind of in a 'cooking rut.' I've been pretty busy lately, so I've just been making the same few staple dishes over and over again.

I would like to do something different; specifically, something with pasta. I'm not huge on red meat, so something meat-free or 'lighter' (such as poultry) would be great. I got a few ideas from Google, but would appreciate any recipe or general dish recommendations.

Your picture looks like this, except it's actually trying to be serious.

Protip for perfect al dente

>Boil your water
>add pasta
>bring back to boil
>Put on lid
>turn heat off
>Check at 6 minutes if not ddone check at 8 and ten min

I didn't believe it at first but it works

Also since you don't like red meat follow a meat sauce recipe and replace meat with sliced black and green olives

Penne ala Vodka.

Spaghetti Carbonara.

I've had those two recently, they've been good.

Ha! I just typed in pasta on Google images, one of the first things that popped up.

Sounds kind of like the "perfect boiled egg" thing.

>>6062058
Hm, that's an interesting idea.

>>6062094
The Carbonara sounds a bit heavy on the pork, Penne ala Vodka sounds interesting though.

Looks really good and fairly straightforward. Thanks!

The carbonara can be, but oftentimes I just cut a small amount and add it for flavor.

In German, when you have "sp" at the beginning of a word, it sounds like "sh" so we say "Shpaghetti." Don't know about the Scandis.
