For me, Subway is kind of comfort food because I always get it with my family when we go to the beach. Eating an oven roasted chicken sub on wheat, provolone cheese, toasted, everything except olives, black pepper, on the beach is pure heaven for me.

Not that guy, but I've got bad news...
Nope. Subway has nothing on a buffalo McChicken, Big Mac, Quarter pounder w/cheese, etc and it costs way more for what I'm getting. At mickey d's, I know I'm getting something that is going to test the limits of my toilet later. At subway I'm expecting a sub shop- a clean atmosphere, and something fresh tasting.

Unfortunately I end up walking into subway and it doesn't smell like a sub shop. It doesn't smell like fresh baked bread either. It just smells like the floor hasn't been cleaned properly of all those "fresh" ingredients they've been using. The employees always end up being depressed faggots that look like they're about to kill themselves and they're contributing to the smell. Nothing about subway is "fresh" either. They claim the bread is baked fresh on site, but I don't smell fresh bread when I walk in, and it doesn't taste like fresh bread, either. Their meat comes pre-sliced, have you seen the chicken used on the subs? Yeah, that shit was TOTALLY cooked this morning. Their sauces taste like shit and they're applied liberally to cover up all the crap you're over-paying for. They charge extra for bacon on their "club" sub as well.

I can get a FAR better result with a $4 footlong from Sheetz. A fucking gas station.

eating subway feels like dying inside, not even a little, it just feels like emptiness. from the first bite to the last i feel like i just contributed to the death of some someone, somewhere... ultra shitty food, ultra worthless workers, god i hate subway.

when i was forced to eat there on account of them being the only place in walking distance of my work, i would get the spicy bmt, with bacon added. but seriously fuck this place, i haven't eaten there in three years.

Oh boy, when I'm feeling hungry after a long day of work there's nothing better than a fresh Subway™ foot-long sandwich!

I get deliciously moist fresh chicken breast on a freshly baked in-store Italian Herb & Cheese bread, toasted to absolute perfection (no cheese for me!)

Then when it comes to the vibrant salad what a selection there is - crisp lettuce, rosy red tomatoes, fresh olives, spicy Jalapeno, colourful sweetcorn, the lot! My favourite combination on this Sub is a dash of lettuce, a generous helping of onion, some Jalapenos for some kick and some freshly ground black pepper to enhance the taste. Topped with some delightfully sweet BBQ sauce and we're ready to go!

All this plus a drink for only £5, the Subway™ experience simply can't be replicated by other fast food chains in my opinion. When I'm eating out, I make sure I can still Eat Fresh™!
