It's McDonald's

It still had 370 calories and 35 grams of carbohydrates

America.

McLean is a stupid name. It sounds like a 1970s detective series.

Why is /ck/ so obsessed with McDonalds and burgers. Are you fat?

What do you think?

It went wrong the moment people started thinking the cure to being fat was to stop eating fats.

I actually know a few people with the last name McLean.

If this menu item still existed, I would probably buy them one every single day just to fuck with them.

The average person needs how many calories per day? 2000?

You could eat 5 of these (or 6 without cheese) and you'd still be within limits.

There's a Chinese restaurant close to where I live that actually has teriyaki on the menu.

The existence of this item has left me both curious and terrified.

Shit, I think I actually just might order it the next time I'm there. I only remember it from reading a take-out menu a while ago and laughing at the fact that there's a Japanese item on a Chinese menu.

Goddammit.

No one has mentioned the obvious. 91% is too lean for a burger. dry and tasteless. I use 93% lean in chili, stews, and spaghetti sauce. 80 % ground chuck for burgers.

All UK chinese takeaways sell curry.

It's disturbingly good with chips. It shouldn't be. It shouldn't even exist, but it's good.

Try the chinky teriyaki, it may be good.

A 0% fat pattie doesn't taste good, that's the problem.
That said I really with they stopped using mayo as a base for all their fancy sauces. Ketchup and mustard are way healthier.

Another reason why I'm a bit nervous to try it out is because I've been going to that restaurant for a while now. It's probably been 10 years.

I've given my money to this establishment many times in the past decade, and I am concerned that if I actually order the teriyaki, it will change everything that I know and love about them.

You're mostly right, but I still think you need to draw the line somewhere.

Many people choose to eat salads because they're healthier for you. McDonald's salads are actually worse for you than their burgers.

it had very little fat, so the flavor and texture were poor; but it was also crammed with salt and sugar, so it wasn't even an unexciting-but-healthy alternative to the normal menu items. there was basically no reason to order it.

>> No.5928393

the Mighty Caesar and such, sure, but the garden salad is just straight vegetables. you even get some cherry tomatoes in there.

burger + side salad + tea is actually a reasonable healthy meal that you could eat many times a week, especially if you're getting an unbreaded chicken burger.
