I was taking a walk at lunch to see the last of fall, and I see one of these little fuckers trying to crawl across the road. So i pinched the little guy between my two digits, and took him home while his itty bitty nails tried scratching my fingertips.

Question: How can I raise this little guy up to monster eating weight?

No. All the baby snapping turtles look like that. An alligator snapping turtle will have very pronounced ridges on its back, more so than the turtle in the OP image. Also, the one in the OP image is from the Adirondacks (upstate New York), which is far too north for alligator snapping turtles. Who knows what the OP has or where the OP even lives.
