honestly I think it depends on why she's vegan. If it's for health reasons (like me) it MAY be okay. However, I know vegans who are also batshit crazy about animal rights and get very worked up. This is why I don't have many vegan friends; the need to smear their shit everywhere can be overwhelming. Just find out why she's vegan. Most people I know can not afford or do not care enough to base their meals around meat, however they do have meat as a component to their meal. The bulk of the meal still consists of plant matter. BBQ being an obvious exception, but that's not a daily thing.
