Hello /ck/,
I have recently found my love for cooking, yet I never know what to cook.

So my question is whats your favourite meal? (Recipe)

>> No.5781745

pizza

the only way this won't be #1 answer is because of pretentious people who want to be seen as fancy

most popular food and recipe in the world for cooking and eating is pizza.

Does anybody know of a minced meat tomato sauce recipe that includes red peppers?

It sounds nice, but I don't know how to make such a sauce

Spaghetti esque sauce is easy.

Start with something tomato based, or even better, tomatoes, I use prechopped ones.

Blend them into a chunky paste, if you like big bits of tomato, you can grind less.

Add a teaspoon of sugar (this recipe is for ca one packet of minced meat.)

Then add fresh garlic, I use half of one, since I love it, but you can have more or less depending on taste.

Take some red peppers, and chop them up in tiny bits, and add.

Add a little bit olive oil, and a teensy bit vinegar (if it's too sour, add more sugar)

Chop some regular onions and add, and optionally, half of a red chilli pepper, if you want it a bit spicy.

After that I add various spices, herbal spices blends best with the tomato taste IMO

Then fry up a packet of minced meat, when the meat starts to lose it's red color, add the sauce, frying the sauce will make the garlic and chili milder though, so fry accordingly.

Keep in mind, this is my personal recipe, so it won't be perfect, but I like it very much, tastes great with pasta
