What do you food guys think about this place?

Basically, I was in Texas for a bit and I went to a Freebird's a few times. I took a friend of mine there and he said Chipotle was way better after trying Freebird's once. He made some bullshit with white rice, cilantro, and steak with like no salsa or guacamole or refried beans or anything good.

I've gone to two different Chipotles now and the food is mediocre. For the price you pay you get half the size you could get from Freebird's, and the selection of ingredients is severely lacking. It's actually pathetic, I think they have like 8 ingredients for burritos.

It seems like Chipotle is to Freebird's as Subway is to Firehouse.

You are correct, which is why I bought stock in the company instead of choosing to eat there. The food sucks, but there's lots of the kind of people who are happy to eat that food out there.

? It is. There's nothing wrong with fast food, but unless you live in the desert it isn't hard to find a better quality, similarly priced counterpart.

The Chipotle near where I live is one block away from a Mexican joint whose burritos are actually cheaper and taste way better.

There are two sub sandwich shops/bars near the Subway that are, again, better.

Admittedly, the only really good burger place around is pricier than McDonalds/Five Guys/etc. but again, quality is through the roof.

If you think Chipotle is good food, you either live in Montana and think Taco Bell is real Mexican, or you have shit taste.

It's decent. I enjoy eating my food that I get from there, but they need more variety. My biggest issue is I could just as easily go to an actual Mexican restaurant, get better food, more of, for less or equal price. Often times the wait isn't that much different either, like when the line is super long.

I rate them 6.5/10, which puts them ahead of taco bell for me, who I would probably consider a 5/10.

Actually, i live there half their half the year. The old joke is that you are welcome to visit, but please don't stay. Have you ever actually been to the PNW? You can see mountains (not the hills we call mountains out here, real ones), desert, rainforests, and beaches in the span of one day. It's basically an outdoorsman's paradise. There's an abundance of good food and drink, the crime rate is low, and the people are friendly. If i didn't have to stay in NY for work, I would leave in a heartbeat.

As someone who's only visited the Chipotle's in the UK I've got no idea how they compare to the US ones. Mexican food only really hit this country ~10 years ago if that, Chipotle has been here even less time than that.

The meat in ours is all free range and British, generally of a very high standard, the beef is nothing short of amazing. I've only really tried the burritos and tacos, no idea how 'authentic' most of it is, but it's certainly fucking delicious which is all that really matters.
