I live in the Detroit metro area and there are a lot of Brits around whom work for the car companies. The other day I was in a restaurant eating breakfast and a group of Brits were getting their food and one Brit says, "Hey mates, there are so many victuals here, I reckon it will take us a fork-knife to eat it all." All the Brits laughed and one added, "don't forget to loosen your waistcoat before digging in!"

My question is: What the heck is a fork-knife? Is that what Brits call a spork or is it something else?
