I need your help /ck/. When I was in grade school through high school they would serve chicken nuggets or burgers with a side of sauce. I am looking for the barbeque flavored sauce that was served. I have tried looking everywhere for the image and name of this sauce but to no avail.

It is a barbecue sauce that has a moderate "spicy" flavor to it that will burn a little. It comes in the cup like the picture attached. If anyone can help this anon I would really appreciate it. No sauce has ever come close to the amazing taste this sauce gave. I mean it was so good that it would drown out the cheap feeling of the chicken nuggets and burgers. It felt like the food was actually edible, I must have it.

if you find it, it probably won't be as good as you remember

This. The sauce probably tastes like crap but nothing can compete with the power of your memory.

Try mixing buffalo sauce with bbq sauce.

Buff-a-que; sounds like what You're describing.

Oh god yes, I found a lead on my beloved barbecue sauce. I really do think it was the best sauce to be forged by the sauce gods. I mean if I liked it up until I graduated high school that must mean it was that good.

No, it just means you never had proper BBQ sauce so you didn't know any better.

Could this be it. Any anons here remember if this was the sauce your school lunch came with. Do you remember it being moderately spicy? I think I did it, I will order gallons of this stuff if this is it. But something doesn't feel right, I don't remember it being like this maybe the logo changed...

You know you can make your own right? Lot's of onions, some garlic, spices, tomatoes, mustard, vinegar, and sugar. You can even throw in some booze.

>> No.5729420

The naturally fresh website fails to display any barbecue sauce of any kind. Wallmart might not sell them. Holy shit I think this sauce is either not produced anymore or they only sell to schools. Does anyone know of companies that sell to large infrastructures like public schooling but don't sell to the public? Is this really a thing?

Hmm, will definitely look into creating custom bbq sauce. Sounds a little radical but if this is what must be done to get to the ultimate bbq sauce then so be it. Though this conclusion has left me heartbroken that I will never return to the childhood sauce that I loved so much.
